Being in a state of ongoing transition is not good for my creative process. Trying to sell the farm, prepare for a move and change jobs takes much time and energy. Days are speeding by too fast. Yet I do find even taking a few minutes of the day to even think about photography is a great comfort to my psyche. I had been packing my camera with me every day, where ever I went the camera is right with me, my constant companion. At this point in the year I’m thinking it may be six more months of turmoil before all of this is behind me. So I’m keeping the camera close, even though most days it stays in the bag. There is the comfort of knowing that in the bag lies a trusted old friend, a lifelong companion who has been with me on many journeys, as we embark on even more!
